Rules

  1. Entrants must be 16 years or over.
  2. Select the winner of one League 2 match each 'Game Week'. If your selection wins you continue to the next week. Lose or draw and you lose a life.
  3. All participants start the tournament with 3 lives.
  4. Once your selection is made, you will not have the ability to change it.
  5. You may not pick the same team to win more than once during the tournament (unless the tournament progresses past 24 weeks).
  6. The tournament start date is Saturday 10th October 2015.
  7. Selections should be received by 12pm on the Friday before each game week starts, unless otherwise stated. Deadlines may change on a week by week basis.
  8. Selections can be made either via the Make a Selection page, using your unique pin which you will received upon sign-up, or alternatively via email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. from your registered email address. Entries made via email do not require your pin.
  9. Should you forget to make your selection, or submit a late selection, you will automatically be assigned the lowest team in the league that you have not already selected. Once a team is automatically selected, you will not have the ability to change the selection.
  10. In the event that any match involving a team you have selected is postponed or cancelled for any reason, you will continue to the next round. However, that team will no longer be available for selection.
  11. Should two or more participants remain standing and all are eliminated in the same week, all remaining participants will progress to the next round.
  12. Rounds of fixtures may take place on weekends or mid-week, depending on available fixtures. TheCumbrians.Net will decide which fixtures are included for each round.
  13. Should a Tournament not have reached a conclusion by the end of the 2015/2016 League 2 season, the prize pot will be awarded to the participant with the most remaining lives. Where two or more remaining participants share the same number of lives, the prize pot will be equally distributed amongst those participants.
  14. The entry fee is £5 per team, plus a small Paypal surcharge. Entries are restricted to 3 teams per person, per tournament.
  15. The value of the prize pot will be determined by the number of entries received, and shall be 90% of the total entry money received. The prize pot will be minimum £50 guaranteed, and will only increase once the number of entries received (calculated at 90%) exceeds the initial £50.
  16. Participants will be notified by email to inform them if they are through to the next game week. Please ensure that the email address you have provided during registration is correct. TheCumbrians.Net will not be held responsible for missed entries as a result of emails not being received.
  17. TheCumbrians.Net reserves the right to amend these rules at any time. Any such revision will be binding and effective immediately on posting of notification of such changes on the web site. Your continued use of this game will constitute acceptance of the rules.
  18. TheCumbrians.Net will not be held liable for any amount higher than the entry fee.
