I’m not. I let them keep my season ticket money last season and this season. Would have been cheaper for me to take a refund and pay a tenner for every home game on ifollow. I think a couple of complimentary away games is fair enough.

I think you will find that the club don't own the footage of its own games the FL do and any platforms they are available on are usually subject of deals between the FL and broadcaster.

Big numbers there and important money esp for away games. These numbers will be high with the season closing. This could be interesting for next season esp for away games. Big revenue there.

They are only allowed to stream matches from the New Hive as part of the Barnet formula.

Yeah, I have. I was wondering if it was some sort of scam, as I haven't even bought tomorrow's game yet.

I have had a message as well asking for bank card details but i paid by paypal and watched the game the other night no intention of watching tomorrow it was a on off watch until the league starts . it looks like a scam to me .

That ifollow email definitely looks like a scam as all emails about ifollow I’ve had so far are from the EFL email not an email called ifollow, ignore it.

I also got an email even though I had not purchased for today.

Just tried code but said it was invalid so it still cost me a tenner.

Is it usual to get the local radio station doing the commentary. Them two yesterday made James Philips and Lummy sound quite interesting!

I listened to the Oldham commentary yesterday and quite enjoyed it. To be fair I only wanted to know the names of the players I didn't know cos I had the video on. They covered that so I was happy, at least on the commentary.

£8 goes to the club, every penny will count from now on.

I took the free pass but I'd rather have gone to the game. Tranmere's one of my favourite away days tho it was better when the Mersey Clipper was up and running. It's a bloody gastro-pub type now

I obtain an ifollow free pass via my season ticket. Following the reported problems, in compensation I have also received an email and given a one-off free pass for the Tranmere game. I’m more than happy because I use the ifollow service for our away games.

I had an earlier problem against Colchester where I was charged even tho’ I had a free pass. I complained to ifollow, copying in CUFC. I had a quick response from the club and a later response from ifollow. The pass system has subsequently been changed, and now there is no problem with free access for home games. I’m certain that it wasn’t just down to my complaint but also to others, however Carlisle United and ifollow, I’m sure, acted upon feedback.

With respect Nobby, the Club is losing money hand over fist. There’s no way any of this money is going to the Board and it’s sorely needed. IFollow is one of the few ways of keeping the Club going.

Further to my post #20 regarding the problems I encountered during the Bradford City away game I have received a pleasant email from Chris, iFollow Support who stated “There were a limited number of customers affected by payment failures on this date.”
I have been refunded my full £20 subscription for this match (had to pay twice).

I appreciate glitches happen in this digital age and credit to Chris for investigating my complaint and iFollow for the refund.
I’m now looking forward to watching the match at Forrest Green on iFollow.

Just had email for my son, no refunds whatsoever for under 16s and no ifollow access either, neither were mentioned when the club rang me last month to renew, very poor from the club, loyal fans shafted as usual.

If the suggested situation occurs and large gatherings are not allowed for quite a while. I don’t know whether it would be beneficial to clubs to invest in decent video equipment and show matches through their own media outlets so any money earned would go directly to the club. The present set up is far from perfect and at times difficult to be part of. Easier access would be of benefit to more fans and maybe make it easier for more people to watch club games.

The club currently get £8/£10 and have non of the costs of set up . Of the remaining £2 some of that is VAT . The club would have far greater costs doing it themselves.

Decent streaming equipment to thousands of fans will be massively could costly. Along with designing a streaming system with the right bandwidth.

Probably sold the rights along with the catering as they are not capable of running anything themselves.

Fancy the £10 game tomorrow but this has the heavy whiff of incompetence about it so far...I used it last season and spent the whole game trying to stop it buffering and cutting out....they say it’s improved but it’s not looking great when the app won’t even open!!
(broadband package and service is more than able to run several devices watching live streaming too)

Go to the club website and go in from there. Bit bugging that you get asked to log on about 3 times but if you start at 2.55 you'll be ready by 3

Had to delete and reinstall the app on the iPad, guessing the latest iOS update needed something reset for the app to work.....

Sounds like you've got it working now Huntington. I have the odd buffering issue and occasional commentary drop out but all in all its pretty good. In fact I'd say I'm surprised at how good it works.

Just wish they could fix ir so the opponents stopped scoring. 4am fstart for me - watching from Japan for now.

Is it just my 'watch live' that isn't loading? Audio option works fine just not the video one, hopefully fixes itself before the game starts..
