Said on radio Plymouth will make £600k from this match. I know the capacity has gone up but that seems a bit high. We only made £240k IIRC. :cheer:

Slightly different if you read up on it. I was against signing CMW anyway.

Don't think CMW willingly got in the car drunk, unlike that piece of sh1t from Plymouth.

He did willingly drive twice the speed limit in a 30mph zone though.

Great defensive performance by Plymouth to force a replay. Good news for us, another fixture for them to worry about.

Drunk, speeding, ran a car off the road and took off. Slightly different to CMW.

Higher attendance, different competition and likely higher ticket prices

I think depending how you look at it you can. Both are acts perpetuated by young men who 999 times out of 1000 get away with it and no one ever finds out about them. Loads of young men will have done similar or worse stuff over young ladies. Again im not defending him its prob a fact though.

Can't get over the commentators saying what an historic result this was? wtf? We drew with them in league cup and would therefore have taken them to a replay if replays were still in place in league cup! Did they w4nk themselves in to a frenzy over our performance? I think not! We were under the cosh a fair bit that night , conceded one but scored one too, Plymouth barely had anything worth calling a chance, they seemed to have come to keep the score down rather than have a game.

And it was a lot stronger Liverpool team that was put out that night.

Oh yes! much stronger than todays starting eleven. we kept them to largely shots from outside the box and iirc couldhave nicked it near the end?

The commentators are paid to wank themselves into a frenzy, just like the pundits have to say something controversial and phone in guys have to be wind up merchants. They all don't give a [censored], but can't say this.

I get what their jobs are but find the vocabulary used a but OTT. Historic FA cup performance? I think not!! A deserved draw from hard work? more like it?

I'd rather score a goal and have a little go than draw 0-0. Not gonna live as long in the memory a bore draw as much as a moment.
