Yes total rip off again at £20 to stand and £10 for young children. Their fans pay the same for a covered seated area. Barry can you answer me to why they rip off the away fans.?

I think its the same for everybody isn't it? When we went a couple of years ago we were in that side stand all the way down one side which is seated and covered which I think was the same price as the uncovered terracing behind the goal, maybe wrong like!!

Not sure what it is exactly youre moaning about The Price ? The Kids Price ? or that its Standing and not Seating

Well according to the last BBC survey in Lge 2 20 quid was about the average price at least they dont rob you of another 3 quid if you pay on the day.

The Kids price isnt somthing i pay much attention to but isnt 50% about the norm ?

If you dont want to stand on the Coppice there are i understand 500 seats available on the Whinney hill side no its not great i know but its your last chance as its going in a few weeks time to make way for the new stand but if youre not happy in there then why not just turn up on the day and buy a ticket in the main stand and watch from there they dont bother whether youre an away fan [was quite a few Blackpool in there for instance ] and if you ask for towards the Coppice you.ll most likely be in the end block that away fans used to get in fact if youre going down to BP to get your tickets i.d check that some of the seat tickets arent in that end block

They don't need to charge more to pay on the day because their tickets are more expensive in the first place.

If CUFC charged £20 to go in the paddock there'd be no end of people complaining.

As a comparison CUFC charge:
£10 for 18-22
£7 for 11-17
£4 for under11s

No your right it's £16, and probably worth the extra quid to see a team at the top of the table.

And regardless of what you pay, that's what they are charging OUR fans. I thought clubs were supposed to price home and away fan tickets the same ?

And those prices are exactly a pound more than we are charging Morecambe fans at BP a week later Big differnce is they wont be robbing people who turn up on the day of an extra 3 quid.

They are charging the same for home and away fans i dont see your point ?

You just said that you pay £15, as if that is a possibility for every fan attending a game at Accrington. Failing to mention that to get that you'll have paid £20 for a membership card.

They aren't robbing people, people that buy before the day of the game get a £3 discount.

Also deflecting from the fact that £20 is too expensive to stand and watch league 2 football.

Yes i have a card but i didnt pay for it

Well you carry on believing that its a discount if you like but ask yourself why then is the price they gave to the bbc survey the price with the 3 quid off and not the actual price 3 quid dearer if as you sat that is the actual price. Discount my arse Daylight robbery is what it is and is one of the reason i and 3000 others wont return till its done away with and i can show up at 2 mins to 3 and give a man at the cash turnstile my money.

I agree with you its too dear but until the FL clubs grow a collective set of balls and make the PL cascade the TV cash then nothing will change price wise.

Northernsoul You say:
"Yes i have a card but i didnt pay for it".
And the point is?
“Err i cant see where you can either sit or stand at BP for 15 quid pay in advance or on the day which is what i pay at Accy”.
That’s the point we Carlisle United supporters we can’t watch this game at Accy for £15. Glad you can.
And
"if youre not happy in there then why not just turn up on the day and buy a ticket in the main stand and watch from there they dont bother whether youre an away fan [was quite a few Blackpool in there for instance ] and if you ask for towards the Coppice you.ll most likely be in the end block that away fans used to get in fact if youre going down to BP to get your tickets i.d check that some of the seat tickets arent in that end block"
I'll ask on Tuesday

Until they reduced the number of seats this season away fans were always offered the end block but this season they seem to be giving the 250 in the other side of the Whinney hill instead thats what Luton had yesterday and Blackpool before that but when i asked about a month ago how many wed get the answer was the maximum the police will let us give you.

Because for proper fans who just want to turn up on the day and pay cash at the gate they charge less than CUFC do so how can you see that as robbing anybody adding 3 quid on and not having cash turnstiles is robbing people of both money and choice

Its only an issue at all if you play Andy Halls pathetic its ALL TICKET game when clearly once again it isnt

Their price structure is very simple that they set the prices for each catagory at the start of the season and its the same whether you choose to stand or sit and if you want a fiver off those prices you get a card couldn't be any simpler unlike at BP where its buy this get that or pay an extra 3 quid and no we dont take cash go there do that crap

For me and my two kids its £30 advance in the east stand.
Pay on the day costs £33 as they don't increase the prices on kids tickets.
So it is £7 to £10 cheaper at brunton park.
Also if I want to stand and pay on the day for myself I can go through the the cash gate in the paddock and pay £19 for myself like I did for the Crawley match which is still £1 cheaper than Accrington.
Also the seats for the away end at Accrington that I went in last season are not fit to be sold as seats as theirs no leg room so you have to stand all game anyhow.

I agree with you about the seats in the Whinney hill stand and thats why its being replaced with a nice new modern one.

But same advice as earlier ask at BP if any of the seats are in the main stand as in previous years brand new seats in there and the legtoom is fine.if not just buy on the day in there same price as buying in advance.

If you bothered turning up at BP and supporting your team you'd know that there are cash turnstiles on a matchday. So please, kindly shut up.

Charging £20 to attend a match at the shit-tip that is Accrington is an absolute joke. The facilities are disgraceful.

Well if you dont like dont fu cking go then

And having just checked with someone who goes and knows you cannot pay cash at a turnstile to get in the east stand even if you were willing to be robbed of the 3 quid

Nobody mentioned East Stand. You said the club does not have cash turnstiles when in fact they do. Once again you're wrong Barry. Like I say, if you went you'd know.

I'll be at Accrington because I go to support my club, doesn't mean I have to like the admission prices or the facilities offered though does it?

Thats clearly not somthing youd understand havnt you got an arse or two to go and wipe ?

Every survey ever done about how fans wish to pay on a matchday is by cash at a turnstile on the day

How does paying in advance by card make people less of fans ?

Thats clearly not somthing youd understand havnt you got an arse or two to go and wipe ?

Fu cks sake Barry man i cant remember the last time i paid on the day for a home game.

Every survey ever done about how fans wish to pay on a matchday is by cash at a turnstile on the day

It is quite funny how you try to offend people when you are being proven wrong.

But you obviously have very little idea of what I actually do, hence the need for petty insults, or trying to make out as if caring for the elderly or disabled is somehow less of a job.

I can only hope you are never in the position to need that care.

NOT IN THE EAST STAND YOU CANT WHICH IS WHERE I WOULD BE SO AS FAR AS I.M CONCERNED I CANT AND ONCE AGAIN I,M CORRECT

Of course i support CUFC and have done for a hell of a lot longer than you and when youve done what i have in the name of CUFC come back and say that again i support the team not the club and then wont change until it has owners i approve of running the club in a way i approve of.or even better by the fans themselves as theres simply no need for the likes of Jenkins Nixon and their cronies anymore

Right to put the matter to bed Accringtons away price at £20 is 58p above the average away cheapest ticket price in the division this season. There are 5 dearer, 7 the same price and 10 cheaper and at 14 grounds its theoretically possible like at Accrington to have a choice to stand or sit but of course that option might not be possible at all grounds for all games though.

So i dont think that anyone could argue that they are well and truly average price wise for away fans

And allowing for the various schemes that the BBC survey has allowed at £15 they are the equal cheapest for home tickets in the league along with Wycombe

Now i.m not going to sit here and defend the state of The Wham over the past few seasons and if a new owner had come in and done nothing then the criticism would be more than fair but in the year since he took over Andy Holt has transformed the place both inside and out and i dont see how he could do anymore than get the funding in place and get planning permission granted for a modest new stand.and have the groundworks underway within that year. As well as announcing plans for new dressing rooms, hospitality areas, club shop and administration block and all that with setbacks like being conned out of 50k by the FGIT [ which is now subject to a court case i believe which if he wins the money will I understand be spend on building a fan zone at the away end identical to the one at the Clayton end ]

There are plenty of things you can still critisise ASFC and the Wham for but lack of effort or funds to put right 10 years of nil investment definitely isnt one of them and CUFC fans can only pray that they ever get an owner who cares about a club and its fans as much as Andy Holt does at Accrington Stanley.

Not denying it at all, simply that you have very little understanding of what the role actually involves, but we can add that to the long list of things you don't know can't we.

Your not a CUFC fan, your a old bloke who used to fight at football games and now things it's some kind of badge of honour that you did, your a disgrace.

And i never said that i did but dont you think wiping arses on a care home nighshift is a bit of a waste of your time and money getting a degree not to mention that of the taxpayers.

And yes of course its a badge of honour its just sad little shits like you who think football is all about families and being nicey nicey and couldnt even start the understand how much more exciting when it was played on two levels give me the 70.s and 80.s any day when Carlisle had a crew that were renowned all over the land and guys like Stubby made the front page of the Mirror at Preston i still have that paper proudly displayed in a frame in my bathroom..

But hey you go on wiping those arses and looking forward to your fix at the weekends and i.ll pick and choose my matches where there might just be a bit off off the pitch action as well.to liven things up as baiting the old tw at Jenkins and his side kick Pattison is beginning to get a bit boring now if i.m honest

Not particularly no, I'm in a job I enjoy and get a lot out of. In the five years I've done this job I haven't once 'wiped arses' as the residents I work with don't require that level of care.

Sounds a bit sad to me. Football hooligans are a disgrace and ruin the game for everyone else.

Some of the stuff you've come out with on this thread I'm literally cringing at Barry, coupled with your terrible spelling, grammar and poor understanding of the English language is making you look like an uneducated simpleton.

If the £3 extra they charge to pay on the day is keeping you away from BP then I'm all for it. I hope it stays under this regime, the next regime and the one after that coz quite frankly the club can do without the likes of you.
