There wasn't really a bad foul in the game, some ridiculous bookings. Joyce's was a great tackle first half, yes his trailing leg caught the man but that doesn't make it a foul, what's he meant to do with it?! Ellis fouled his man but nothing more, then because Angol squared up to him he got booked, really don't understand that, if I was Curle I would ask exactly why Ellis was booked.

Butcher was also booked second half for a 'foul' on Miller but he slid in a good yard away from him, Miller accidentally landed on top of him!

Mirfin should have got a yellow first half for pulling back Bonham when he went to throw it out quickly so he should have gone plus Angol definitely did enough to get 2 bookings if not a straight red for kicking out. Agree that there werent many bad fouls just hell of a lot of little ones.

Newcarlislefan thought they were cynical/dirty ..they were last year if I remember but we beat the cr*p out if them under A.Murray

They spent a small fortune since then and employed dirtier players of higher skill.

One of those sides that will eventually click and be pushing at the top.

Their physical play will mean they will be more of a match at your Cheltenhams and Newports where we just couldn't handle this sort of team last season.

Steve Evans was the manager last year when we beat the cr*p out of them.

Evans looks to have put on about 3 stone since last year
