I see they are back in training and have some friendlies lined up, and yet no indication at all about united training, friendlies or signings what's with all the secrecy surely they want to try and stir some interest regardless of how next season is going to work out.

Their openness withe fans didn't last long, the shutters have come down. Their ingrained philosophy of mushroom management has taken hold again.

Carlisle have signed players. All players contracts expire on 30th of June and include an additional months severance (wages). Sign them now and you pay them now. Sign them Monday and you only pay them from 1 August.

What the clubs doing is prudent financhial management, they’d be slated if they did and be slated if they didn’t - cant win on this one.

When you see the players announced on Saturday or Monday interest will be drummed up - some of them are very good players.

Easy to say sign it then when the transfer window opens etc, if the budget cap is 1.25 million ( as rumours from the EFL suggest) a weeks wages would be nearly 25k and if it’s 1.5 million nearly 30k. Could come close to another player in January by saving that.

I assume your info on the good signings is from a reliable source or just your opinion

It’s alright for Workington, they can train as normal. There’s no risk of COVID in West Cumbria as not even a virus would want to inhabit that shithole.

It just looks down to lack of ambition from the club. If they don't want to give details of anyone they have lined up they could at least say they have been busy getting players signed and that they would be making announcements soon, just to try and stir up some interest. It's not a lot to ask of them.
There has not been any mention about things player wise apart from the players not accepting contract offers and they only did that because the cat got out of the bag.

Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. There's decent and bad spots wherever you go in the World and that goes for people too.
