I’ve never seen us beat Morecambe at home (I don’t go to and don’t count checkalease games as competitive fixtures).

The day we played them in the FA Cup at home, were in league 1 they were league 2, I think we were 2-0 up, they were down to 10 men... we still didn’t win, finished 2-2. That afternoon I realised we were never ever going to beat Morecambe at home.

1-0 - Jones in an evenly matched game. It will give Beech and Holdsworth a chance to look at the Blackpool loanee goalkeeper Mafoumbi who might be worth trying to sign to replace Collin next season.

For God's sake NO NO NO and NO

I'm not saying Mafoumbi would be the best replacement for Collin we could get but he would definitely be an upgrade. I agree with Piglet that Collin is looking near the end of his League career. Lummy on the radio said Mafoumbi looked a proper goalkeeper and he and JP couldn't work out why he was at Morecambe. Single-handedly he has made the crucial difference which will see Morecambe stay up this season.

He's at Morecambe because going out on loans is what he does it means Blackpool get a 3rd or 4th keeper without paying for him.

The Lashers haven't a clue with keepers look how many they've had in the last 10 years At present, they have 5 on their books Mark Howard, Jak Alnwick, Chris Maxwell, Mafoumbi and a young lad called Simms In addition they have four more keepers younger than that.

I can see 3 there that I would sign before him. Maxwell is a funny one they seemed to sign him just for the sake of it but I would imagine his contract will only be till the end of the season and might well sign for reasonable money if you offered him 3 years
