I actually thought that it might be NC - hates his bosses and wants them out of the way so decided the messageboard was the best way to achieve this.

The trusts websites just about done - unfortunately I’ve been quite ill this week being unable to use my left side but getting there now so I’ll add some minor detail next week and good to go.

I’ve done the layout, structure and made it more interactive with polls twitter feeds contact forms and the ability to vote at the agm online. Alistaire and Malcolm have done a really good job with the content.

I’m quietly surprised really it’s worked out but pleased the trust took the offer of help, I’ve been very critical of the trust but they took my offer onboard and relationships/openness have improved -I’ll still criticise them though when needed!

That's exactly how it should be, and good organizations will realize the value of constructive criticism. The trust website always being outdated was definitely an issue. Sounds like you've done a good job revamping it, can't wait to see.

The club/trust are putting a member through diversity trsining, Id like to know if the club have offered training to any other groups such as disability awareness training for cusat/disabled group. Customer service training, social media training or any other training.

The trust are moving the site across - the site is hosted by one company and the domain another so that’s where the holdup will be, pointing everything to the right place that these 3rd parties have to do.

The trust are responsible for the content.

I did ask for photos on here and only Barbara, thank you, was forthcoming. Some are and some aren’t hers. If you have any better ones Barry let us know.

I’m not a web designer I’m a developer and I get things to work, I’m no good on the arty farty stuff (although I’ll do something about the white excess space on pages) as most of the complaints were about content not being updated I’ve made it so it’s very easy to update (as before it was hard coded) I’ve made forms so it’s easy to contact and join and there’ll also, in future, be the ability to vote online at the AGM votes.

Let me know what you want on it and I see what I can do.

Because a lot of the content will be the same. The history of CUOSC for example, that hasn't changed, it's still the same so the same text can be used. The main issue I think was that the old website wasn't easy to update. I'm not sure exactly what they were using, but they couldn't just log in and add a new post, the entire site had to be updated each time they wanted to add more stuff. So the website was constantly outdated. Now they are using Wordpress, which is very user friendly. They can log in and create a new post, and it will show up as a new article on the site.

At the moment when I go to cuosc.org.uk and click on latest news the new web address in the bar shows the IP followed by the web address, for example 46.32.240.43/cuosc.org.uk/latest-news/

I think if you go to the WP dashboard, settings, then general, and then change site address/url to the cuosc.org.uk it will show the normal address

There’s an issue with the links, pointing to the test site - I don’t have access to change but will be fixed ASAP, doesn’t really matter at the moment.

Kessler is correct, a lot of the content is from the old site so is the same. Difference being in future all newspaper columns emails will be added on there (slight delay) and board meetings etc - there’s now no excuse for these to not appear on there now.

This isn’t my site, yes to some extent it’s the trust but mostly it’s yours the supporters. If there’s anything you’d u want added let the trust know, anything at all! Any design skills get in touch!

Yeah noticed - I didn’t know when it was going to be live so was half of expecting this issue but I’m out at the minute and can’t fix it, I’ve emailed Alistaire to fix - it’s just a normal thing that happens when you move a site.

What I want on it from the start is a word by word commentary on what's going on with the "succession" talks and don't give me the confidentiality bollocks all you have to do is put any number of phrases before it and you're in the clear. And in any case whose going to sue an organisation with 5k in the bank and existing liabilities of over 25k

I don't want to be hearing that they've given away what I and others fought to get just to get some shit like Day who clearly knows nothing about running a lower league football club and even less about how to fund one.

So unless they plan to use the new website to actually keep people up to date with whats going on you might as well bin it now
