What do we think, will he be the subject of a bid in January?
If so whats he worth, what would he go for?
I'll start
1. Yes
2. Worth - 1m
3. Sell 250k with sell on clauses
£750k is an absolute snip from Everton’s point of view.
From Branthwaites point of view he’ll be going from probably £400 a week to £4000. Hard to turn down!
Got told the (alledged) McCarron figures yesterday, and they are 5 times what Carlisle offered him, so the proportions are probably right, but if the Carlisle offer value was right can't see Branthwaite being on £400 a week.
Less than £400 from what I've heard , From his family members.
Just so happens my bro-in-law is the chief Everton reporter for the Liverpool Echo. I’ve messages him.

Branthwaite or McCarron?

Branthwaite
£750k is pitiful when you have so many big, wealthy clubs interested.
Rangers paid us £600k for Paul Reid and that was 20 years ago - I don’t recall anything like the same level of interest in him.
Do people think that the recent glut of youngsters being signed by bigger clubs mean the youth policy has suddenly blossomed, or is it that the standard of the first team players is giving them more chances.
I was thinking the latter at first, but maybe not for three to come through at once.
Or maybe just a cyclical thing, like Delap, Jansen etc.

Delap Jansen etc. actually made quite a few appearances for us I believe

Phil Kirkbride?

Phil Kirkbride?
Yep, the one and only
If he was treat with the respect he deserved from our director of football Mccaron would of stayed for another 12 months
I have a bad feeling thatthe bod are just trying to get cash up front as quickly as possible and are not even interested in a sell on fee as they will probably be gone by then.
Didn't they have to put £100k in each recently? I bet that made them splutter. Nixon will be desperate for his money back.

What makes you say that CUFC?
Seemed to me the club were trying to get him out of the door to generate money, especially with the contract offer they gave him, so you could be right, but suspct he was all for going.
A little frustrating for me is you get a crop of youngsters coming through together .You hope to at least see them play together at your club. The last crop -- Potts,Dempsey, Brough,Beck, Symington ,even Gillespy could be thrown in all played a fair few games. The recent crop we have hardly seen ,even though we have completely built the squad again two years running.
More lies from the bod saying he had picked up a 'niggle' in training.
Pathetic taking the first bid and not even getting £1m which is chicken feed for Everton. Only got Cardiff tickets to see him play - wish I hadn't now.
