What do we think, will he be the subject of a bid in January?
If so whats he worth, what would he go for?
I'll start
1. Yes
2. Worth - 1m
3. Sell 250k with sell on clauses
Anyone know what/who the link with Leeds is, as seems really odd that the last two promising youngsters have both ended up there with little no opposition.
Is Ian Harte not Mccaron’s agent ?
They’ve been spending a bit on young players, signing Galloway and Mccaron for 300k (ish) is hardly a risk to them
So where's the money then......the club have only received some of the McCarron fee so far as reported recently

I think the Leeds coach in charge of fouling knows Dolly.
The Elvis legacy may have one positive feature in that Branthwaite is contracted to the end of next season. This does strengthen our hand. Otherwise he would probably be already at Leeds. As it is he is now catching the attention of big clubs.
Was told by someone who knows nothing the club have accepted an offer from Leicester
Will no doubt be aware that we sold one of the best strikers in Scotland for 20k to Aberdeen!
Overheard a director say Liverpool & Wolves had been watching him too. A bidding war between interested parties & a loan spell back to us would be the best case scenario.
Southampton and Newcastle mentioned too on the BBC Football Gossip Page today:

Who wouldn't want to go to Celtic?
Apparently Newcastle have first refusal on him as part of Sorenson loan deal

APPARENTLY???
not very likely though - doubt he was on many teams' radars back then

That’s an appalling deal if true. Even setting aside the fact Sorensen’s been shite.
What if Branthwaite doesn’t want to go to Newcastle and/or gets offered more money elsewhere? Wouldn’t have thought the club could tie his hands like that.
I would refuse point blank to go to Newcastle.
Premier League clubs probably close to their home and still living with their parents.
How many 17 year old move independently to the south from Carlisle? You could probably count them on one hand. Even the minority who actually leave Carlisle to go to University mostly go to Glasgow, Newcastle, Lancaster and Manchester.
