I've signed up for the season, £110. Seems reasonable to me.

How much do the club get of this or have they already sold their rights to the FL?

Big numbers there and important money esp for away games. These numbers will be high with the season closing. This could be interesting for next season esp for away games. Big revenue there.

For away match go to settings click on audio and select home. Hopefully Salford will be better than the harrogate dross.

I think you will find that the club don't own the footage of its own games the FL do and any platforms they are available on are usually subject of deals between the FL and broadcaster.

If the suggested situation occurs and large gatherings are not allowed for quite a while. I don’t know whether it would be beneficial to clubs to invest in decent video equipment and show matches through their own media outlets so any money earned would go directly to the club. The present set up is far from perfect and at times difficult to be part of. Easier access would be of benefit to more fans and maybe make it easier for more people to watch club games.


The club currently get £8/£10 and have non of the costs of set up . Of the remaining £2 some of that is VAT . The club would have far greater costs doing it themselves.

Decent streaming equipment to thousands of fans will be massively could costly. Along with designing a streaming system with the right bandwidth.

Just had email for my son, no refunds whatsoever for under 16s and no ifollow access either, neither were mentioned when the club rang me last month to renew, very poor from the club, loyal fans shafted as usual.

As long as you have internet on you smart tv you can watch on ifollow no probs. Only downside because of a delay with RC I had to take the Walsall commentators, who were very complimentary.

I just purchase on my Mac and connect to my TV via HDMI cable.

I’ve done it via airplay before too and it’s worked, not from an iPad though.

I bought my first ifollow for the Bolton game assuming I’d be able to log in on my smart TV. But you can’t, something they need to sort quickly I’d have thought. Was still good quality and worth it (late collapse aside) on the iPad, but can’t be that difficult surely. Tried transferring by airplay, but couldn’t do it - that may just have been me.

Emailed them. They said they’d processed the refund. Checked my bank this afternoon and the refund is there but it’s only 50p.

I had a problem last week.I logged on without problem, but was then cut off as I "didn't have permission". Resolved as I had logged on using my VPN and I needed to go thru regular connection.

Further to my post #20 regarding the problems I encountered during the Bradford City away game I have received a pleasant email from Chris, iFollow Support who stated “There were a limited number of customers affected by payment failures on this date.”
I have been refunded my full £20 subscription for this match (had to pay twice).

I appreciate glitches happen in this digital age and credit to Chris for investigating my complaint and iFollow for the refund.
I’m now looking forward to watching the match at Forrest Green on iFollow.

Has everyone received their refund from the Cheltenham game. I received the email stating a refund would be forwarded to me within 14 day, it's now 20 days and they are not even replying to me... Utter shambles...


Yep! Doesn’t come from the EFL I follow it comes from 6 Chiswick place.

After three emails to various contacts I received a reply this morning, they state the refund has gone into my account. Is this my bank account or Carlisle United account? If so where can I find it and action it. I have found this on my account page but can't figure out how to action it. Please help... Screenshot (28).png

I e-mailed ifollow after the match yesterday (I'd also did early in the second half and got a bland responce)

"Just prior to the match, Bradford City v Carlisle United, I paid my £10 subscription, as an away supporter though the Carlisle United ifollow link, and clicked watch live.
Then I watched the first half and the half time adverts but just prior to the second half my screen went blank and a notice came up and said “you are not authorised to view this match” or words to that effect.

I clicked out, and off on numerous occasions and read Carlisle United had scored (the only goal of the match).

In desperation I paid again and gained access after 20 minutes of the second half.
Frustration and annoyance doesn’t come close to my feelings.
Please explain why this happened?"

I await the ifollows responce.
