I used to see Ian Wright regularly when I worked down there in the mid-late 90's and what a top bloke he was - a few others of that team were also absolute gents as well, Steve Bould and John Lukic two that spring to mind. David Platt however was an absolute arsehole!!

That famous story when Platt moved abroad and was asked if he missed the Villa, to which he replied 'no I live in one'.

I was shocked when I seen Ian Wright sat next to the other pundits on tv the other day, he is absolutely massive now, he could hardly fit into his suit!

Same could be said for numerous top players from around that time. Part of the current problem with English football at the moment IMO.
